thank you for your views..... gray kitty cat

OMyGoodness, got an Etsy e-mail this morning titled: " Congrats! One of your items is very popular "; it was one of my gray kitty cat, yaaaah, immediately I check my Etsy stats, I think the views started around 3am this morning, don't know how and why (kitty cat went to a good home in July), the views are still coming in, I have no idea from where though, Etsy stats indicated FB, but my FB view for the gray kitty is still the same, ????, in any case, thank you all for your likes and supporting views....

stolen patterns

not again, just found out three of my patterns are being posted as free/trade patterns on various foreign sites on the internet without my permission, since naming the individual sites will only enhance their visibility and presence, I just want to clarify that these pattern sharing sites do not have my authorization in posting GurumiOrama patterns.

My original patterns are located on gurumiorama.etsy.com

super fluffy white puppy

the week's challenge was to take picture of my new white fluffy puppy on a white background...(sigh)...after numerous readings on the how to's (there is one popular post that suggested bouncing light from every corner XD)  and try outs and after tons of shots and adjustments and editing, I think using color background still works the best, off to look for more background props........:)-

AmioSaurus (pattern) ravaged

A fellow amigurumist has informed of my AmioSaurus pattern being offer as free pattern on a Russian blog. After all this time, I am pretty much immune to the fact that my (amigurumi) patterns are being traded/exchanged/pirated all over the internet. What else can I say except that I am honor that the users like my patterns so much that they have to share (the patterns) on their blogs. Nevertheless, since it is a Russian site, I thought there is no way I can be rid of the link posts, seemingly hopeless, I messaged the blog site administrator, and, today I am fortunate to receive a response back, I checked the links, they are private posts now, not totally gone, but I guess it will do for now......

fuzzy Bear resting blocks

Wooden image blocks are very popular now, they are fun and easy to make, all you need are wood blocks, scrap(book) paper and Mod Podge....oh, and brush/sponge of course. I've made these blocks for fuzzy Bears to lean against so fuzzy Bear can be properly propped up.... :D

Random amigurumi stuff

The best part of amigurumi is needling all parts together and realization of the final product.... (PPG Blossom for a custom order, pattern from Gurumi*O*Rama.etsy.com)

PPG Bullet Squirrel

I had the pleasure of custom making a squirrel name Bullet from Power Puff Girls, I believe Bullet has been retired from the show (PPG), but it was fun making Bullet. Head / Body / Arms / Legs were fairly easy to come up with, the tail took a bit of time. I wanted a fully stuffed curvy tail, so after a couple of disaster tries, I searched online and found Martha Stewart's Crochet Squirrel Pet Toys, the tail from this squirrel is made from an inverted heart !! how cool is that, which of-course I improvised as Bullet's tail... :D
