OMyGoodness, got an Etsy e-mail this morning titled: " Congrats! One of your items is very popular "; it was one of my gray kitty cat, yaaaah, immediately I check my Etsy stats, I think the views started around 3am this morning, don't know how and why (kitty cat went to a good home in July), the views are still coming in, I have no idea from where though, Etsy stats indicated FB, but my FB view for the gray kitty is still the same, ????, in any case, thank you all for your likes and supporting views....

fuzzy Bear resting blocks

Wooden image blocks are very popular now, they are fun and easy to make, all you need are wood blocks, scrap(book) paper and Mod Podge....oh, and brush/sponge of course. I've made these blocks for fuzzy Bears to lean against so fuzzy Bear can be properly propped up.... :D

Random amigurumi stuff

The best part of amigurumi is needling all parts together and realization of the final product.... (PPG Blossom for a custom order, pattern from Gurumi*O*Rama.etsy.com)

photo prop - doll House

Over the weekend I finished a small doll house to be use as photo props for my fuzzy bears. I had contemplated to built a room box, but the cost is just too much, a single piece of base wood would be as much as the doll house kit with almost the same quality if not lower grade of chip wood, and the kit has everything pre-cut so I did't need to get additional tools.

I had left the back and top open, add wood stick panel to the interior and white painted all walls except the floor. I then prep one side wall of the the house, along with the second floor, as separate pieces so they can be move around, and for ease of storage. The little chairs are made from scraps, not bad for a simple kit......

Here is the final set up, so much easier to use (and with clearer photos, less editing required) then using the light tent, which for some reason I can never get any clean/crisp shots. I will fine tone the doll house as we go, but for now, I am very happy with the doll house (and I  know my bears are happy too). Incidentally, sweet pink fuzzy bear has gone to a good home.... :D

fabric lined ear for fuzzy bunny

For my new fuzzy Bunny, I've added a bit of fabric to break up the monotone body by lining the inner ear flap with scraps of Japanese cotton fabric. To round out the bottom of fabric, I had made sure I cut enough slits and ironed the edge flat. And this time, instead of running stitches, I hand sewn the fabric onto fuzzy ears using single stitches .... love how the ears turned out. I will try position the ears right side up for my next bunny project, but for now, I must work more on photo background set up so I can have a nicer crispier white background.
