petite Elephants for Christmas 2012

trying different types of yarn for my petite elephants.... these two are crocheted from wool macrame yarn, not as soft as my sock yarn elephants, but they are just as adorable. I've also shaped their trunks a bit differently and hand sewn cotton fabric to ear flaps......

and for my recent sock yarn petite elephants crocheted from chroma sock yarn....

fabric lined ear for fuzzy bunny

For my new fuzzy Bunny, I've added a bit of fabric to break up the monotone body by lining the inner ear flap with scraps of Japanese cotton fabric. To round out the bottom of fabric, I had made sure I cut enough slits and ironed the edge flat. And this time, instead of running stitches, I hand sewn the fabric onto fuzzy ears using single stitches .... love how the ears turned out. I will try position the ears right side up for my next bunny project, but for now, I must work more on photo background set up so I can have a nicer crispier white background.

sweet pink fuzzy Bunny

Chou-Fleur Bunny from San X, I told myself I would make her one of these days, I finally found a suitable eyelash yarn, and, the pink bunny turned out super duper cute. Then again, I don't know why I always get myself into this type of predicament, I see a fuzzy yarn I like, I buy, I make an all so kawaii fuzzy, try to find the same yarn so I can make more, but no where available :[
I had used two types of eyelash yarn to made the pink bunny, Stars yarn from Adriafil for her head and body, which has bits of shimmery lashes that makes Bunny sparkle, and Patons Cha Cha for ears, arms, legs and her big bunny tail.....oh well, I guess I will just have to wait for the yarn to surface, or try other types of eyelash yarn, hmmmmm, may be Fur Sure from Moda Dea.

fuzzy puppy Dog

I had purchased a couple of Ann Blatt Fourrure when I first started amigurumi, it is of the finest polyamide novelty yarn made in Europe, super soft and silky, eyelash part is almost 2" long. Since I was not sure if I could crochet anything out of it at the time, I had the yarn stash away until now, please meet my fuzzy white puppy Dog teacup Pom, just about 5.25 inches (13.3cm) tall and 4 inches (10.1cm) wide

I also made another fuzzy puppy Dog, teacup Yorki, using a brown/tan novelty yarn, about 5.5 inches (14cm) tall and 4.5 inches (11.4cm) wide:
