sweet pink fuzzy Bunny

Chou-Fleur Bunny from San X, I told myself I would make her one of these days, I finally found a suitable eyelash yarn, and, the pink bunny turned out super duper cute. Then again, I don't know why I always get myself into this type of predicament, I see a fuzzy yarn I like, I buy, I make an all so kawaii fuzzy, try to find the same yarn so I can make more, but no where available :[
I had used two types of eyelash yarn to made the pink bunny, Stars yarn from Adriafil for her head and body, which has bits of shimmery lashes that makes Bunny sparkle, and Patons Cha Cha for ears, arms, legs and her big bunny tail.....oh well, I guess I will just have to wait for the yarn to surface, or try other types of eyelash yarn, hmmmmm, may be Fur Sure from Moda Dea.

The Ron Swanson Mosaic

From NBC's Parks and Recreation, all of Ron's favorite foods, if you look closely, the photos are of hamburgers, steaks/sandwiches, fries, beacons, eggs, lobsters, hmmmm, looks scrumptious, but after staring at all these meals for a few minutes I am full already, so I think I will try and use this as my 'see-full' diet.... :D

sock yarn Sock Monkey to go Charms

I've been toying with the sock yarn charms idea for a while, made a couple of samples, my mother had seen the sock monkey samples, loved them and even took one for her purse. After final detailing, sewing the arms and tail to the body so they don't get snagged, using a clip clasp instead of key ring, and added a bell and a stamped pendant to each charm, I am please to introduce my sock yarn Sock Monkey to go Charms:

new amigurumi crochet pattern - choockoBird

this is what happens when you have (grown) boys in the house, whilst I enjoy creating my fuzzy bears and bunnies and chicks and all the girly plushy amigurumis, my boys would come up with cartoon characters, game characters.. for me to work on... the latest character favorite from them, is chocobo from Final Fantasy.
I am not a gamer, so I have no clue what-so-ever, but I do like the challenge, so after about two weeks of hibernation from my fuzzy bears and bunnies and chicks and all the girly plushy amigurumis, I am finally done with the pattern and named it 'choockoBird'.....and, my boys approved of similarity to the virtual chocobo....

Most Expensive Painting in the World

Recent update from www. theartwolf.com, no. 1 most expensive painting in the world: "The Card Players" by Paul Cézanne, was sold in 2011 for $250 million... :D
If I have done my zeros correctly (my calcuator can only take up to six zeros and there are seven zeros in $250 million, so I have to do mental math) that would be about 10 million fuzzy bears I have to make, and if I set my goal to do10 a month, that would be 120 per year divide into 10 million (I used my calculator at this point), comes to 83,333.33 years divide by 83 (age span) equals 1,004.016 life time I have to reincarnate so I can make my fuzzy bears to achieve $250 million (perhaps I have started this journey many past lives ago already).... >_<
Correction on my math, I needed to divide 83,333.33 by 40 (not 83, 83 would meant I have to start working as soon as I was born) workable age span, equals 2,083.3332 life time... double >_<

BBC - the World's Most expensive Paintings, very informative of why paintings are worth as they are.

It was a pleasant surprise when I received a message from Micro G of Knitting & Crochet @ United Kingdom that "Spontaneous Joy" was featured on her blog as one of her "Top 10 Inspirational Crochet Websites". Since I spend most of my free time on making fuzzy creations, I have never consider myself as a good blogger, and to see my blog along with some of my idol bloggers, I am so very honored and thrilled.
Thank you Micro G for your kind gesture, it is very much appreciated.
