Pooch Bear

After my first boucle bear, I wanted to try using different boucle size yarn to make similar bears... and here is my Pooch Bear, crocheted from Patons Pooch boucle yarn "Wheat Field" (hence the name Pooch Bear), I am very happy with the result. :D Enjoy and have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday....

(BTW, miniMouse is a muskrat mouse and he does not like to be bothered.)

WeeFuzziBear no.3 and no.4

It is my pleasure to introduce to you my new WeeFuzziBear no.3 and no.4, they are both at about 3.5 inches tall, and are crochet from Italian made eyelash polyamide yarn.
No. 3 is in a shade of pretty light yellow with sock yarned owl hat.
No. 4 is in a lovely red with (OMGosh) bright yellow fuzzy chick hat; I have also darned the back post of safety eyes on fuzzy chick hat so they do not show..
and they each have their own companion miniOwl

new Fuzzy Bears

I have been waiting for this eyelash yarn for over a year, finally the wait was over, it is a polyamid yarn that was made in Italy, silky and luxurious, very popular in European country, but here in the States, difficult to come by. I am very happy with the wait.... will continue to hunt for more of the same yarn....

At the same time, I made a red fuzzy Bear, it is of watermelon red, very pretty, since red is hard to photograph, I tend to shy away from using red, but I am happy with the result...

new amigurumi pattern: bearyBear & bffBunny

I was looking through my yarn stash and came across Mode Dea Tweedle Dee and Lion Homespund, both yarns are 5 ply textured yarns, therefore making them into amigurumis would require simpler shapes, back to basic I go:

bearyBear is with semi movable legs and arms in a sitting position; bffBunny is in a permanently standing position; both are soft and cudly *O*. The pattern is one and the same for both bear and bunny, positions are inter-changeable, you can custom make your own bear or bunny in a sitting or standing position, with or without muzzle, add felt pad or not, all up to you; pattern works with all bulky weight yarns.
